5 Tips for Using ChatGPT & AI in Your Yoga Business

If you’d told me a few years ago I’d be using AI to support my yoga business, I would have laughed.

Those who really know me, know I clung on to my little Nokia until just under two years ago… and finally surrendered to a smartphone. I honestly thought I’d never see the day—it was a full-on ego death (ha!).

BUT… here I am, and I’ve got to admit something:

Using ChatGPT (or similar AI tools) in my business has helped me SO much. It’s like having an assistant on-hand 24/7.

As someone who’s dyslexic and always juggling a million creative projects, being able to pop ideas, posts, emails or rough thoughts into ChatGPT and receive something clear, helpful, and sometimes even beautifully worded (in seconds!) has been a huge support.

That said… I think it’s really important to use AI as a tool, not a crutch. The magic is still YOU!

Here are some practical ways I use it mindfully:

1. Set up your free account & use the memory wisely
Add in your brand details, your business mission, values, who you serve, how you want your message to come across (mine: warm, friendly, supportive, inclusive). That way, when you ask it to help with something like a newsletter or social media post, it draws from your personality and message—not generic robot speak.

2. Make it part of your visioning process
Try asking it to help you define your yoga business mission, your dream clients, or your core values—it’s a really fun and surprisingly clarifying exercise!

3. Get business support
Tell it about your current offerings, skillset, and ideal clients. Then ask for ideas on how to bring in more income, improve your business model, or expand your reach—without burning out.

4. Watch the emojis!
Personally, I’ve found too many emojis can scream “ChatGPT wrote this!”. I still use a few (because… ✨🦋💛) but make your own call here.

5. Always edit & personalise
Don’t post or send anything straight from AI without reading it through. Make sure it sounds like YOU. And if it doesn’t? Edit or ask it to tweak things or update your memory with more info about your tone, style, and preferences.

Final thoughts…
AI can’t replace you—your energy, your voice, your human magic. But it can be a really helpful tool, like Canva, Spotify or Instagram.

You get to choose how you use it—and how to keep your content feeling real, raw, and beautifully you.

So… if you’re feeling resistant (like I was!), maybe give it a try. You might just surprise yourself.
