These are our general terms & conditions for Gem Yoga Teacher Training:
As a business we are required by law to have certain insurance cover in place. Gem Yoga Teacher Training is covered by Balens Insurance, and covers personal indemnity and public liability. Please note that it is your responsibility as a Yoga Teacher, to also be fully insured, in respect of medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, with adequate cover.
Our Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by a consumer:
Gem Yoga Teacher Training is entitled to keep a reasonable amount to cover any expenses incurred as a result of your cancellation. The required deposit, however, can be transferred to another Gem Yoga Teacher Training course within one year of the original booking date. This does not affect your legal rights to a refund in certain circumstances (see below).
The deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel 14-21 days before arrival – we will refund 50% of total cost. If you cancel less than 14 days before arrival – we will charge 100% of total cost.
Cancellation by Gem Yoga Teacher Training:
In the unlikely event that Gem Yoga Teacher Training has to cancel your course for no fault of your own, we will notify you as quickly as possible and we will compensate you for any loss reasonably incurred by you as a result of our cancellation. The consumer is entitled to take an equivalent or superior substitute course (if we are able to offer you one) or to take a course of a lower price (if we are able to offer you one). We will always refund the difference in price if the replacement course is of a lower standard and price.
The consumer is entitled to compensation by Gem Yoga Teacher Training except when the holiday is cancelled due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of Gem Yoga Teacher Training.
If for any reason at all, a course leader/teacher becomes unavailable we shall do our utmost to replace them with a leader of similar qualities and standards. Wherever possible you will be advised in advance of any alterations. Similarly, the alteration of some amenities or courses might take place due to maintenance work, mechanical faults, weather conditions, sickness or other situations outside our control. If the change of teacher or amenities is not to your satisfaction we will make alternative arrangements at no extra cost to you or if these are not accepted by you, you are able to withdraw from the contract and we will make arrangements for return back to point of departure and, where appropriate, compensate you.
Flight Confirmation and Insurance for 200hrs Yoga Teacher Training Thailand:
It is your responsibility to confirm your flight times with your airline before your outward and return journey.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of private travel insurance with protection for the full duration of the 200hrs Yoga Teacher Training in respect of medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, with adequate cover.
Exclusions of Liability:
Cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations or other events beyond our control.
Participants’ medical or psychiatric/emotional conditions which may become apparent through practising yoga daily on a Gem Yoga Teacher Training course.
Loss of, or damage to, personal property of participants.
